In the winter months, Marmot offers skiers and snowboarders 696 hectares of skiable terrain with a wide variety of runs, from novice to expert, on five mountain faces. During the summer, the Jasper SkyTram, Canada’s highest and longest guided aerial tramway, crests Whistlers Mountain to provide a breath-taking view of the Rocky Mountains. Jasper, Alberta is a small alpine town with a permanent population of 5,000 that swells to around 20,000 with tourists and seasonal staff during the peak summer months. STAFF ACCOMMODATION
Staff can apply once hired (directions on contract). We have apartments that are bachelor-style with bathroom, kitchen, and open space that has 2-3 beds. We also have a few houses with private bedrooms we use for tenured and/or more mature staff or couples. We also have a large building that is described as a “college dorm” style with 4 floors – each floor has 5-6 shared bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a common area with kitchen. Staff can request to room with a friend/partner/sibling etc. upon application. Everyone signs a lease and is charged around $19/day for rent which is taken off bi-weekly paycheques.
