Basic Barista course (Class Room Training)

Basic Barista course is aimed at those wanting to acquire the skills to work as a Barista. The course teaches participants how to make the full range of coffees on a commercial coffee machine. Barista skills are essential to creating full-bodied coffees with balanced flavours in the cup.

Introduction to Bar Training (Class Room Training)

In-house certificated course elaborated for people who wish to start working as a Bartender in the Hospitality industry. The main emphasis is on the development of key skills such as serving, clearing & understanding basic event styles. This course is also ideal for refreshing your knowledge

Introduction to Banqueting and Events Training ((Class Room Training)

This is an unaccredited, in-house certificated beginners course designed for people wishing to start work in the Hospitality, Events and Restaurant industry. The main emphasis is on the development of key skills such as serving, clearing & understanding basic event styles.

Foundation Certificate in Food Safety (Level 2) (Class Room Training)

The CIEH Foundation Certificate in Food Safety is for anyone working in a food business. Everyone who works in the food industry, whether in catering, manufacturing or retail, is responsible for safeguarding the health of anyone who consumes food that has been prepared, processed, stored or sold by their food business. Food handlers have a special responsibility for safeguarding the health of consumers and to ensure that the food they serve or sell is safe to eat.

Level 2 Food Safety–Catering (E-LEARNING)

This online certificate will guide you through the process of handling food in a safety way, avoid spoiling and contamination. The necessary behavior while preparing food and generally at workplace, how to keep themselves safe and the area they work clean, the way of food delivery and handle food according to the correct temperature. They will also understand about hazard and different cleaning methods as well as pest control

Starting Work in Hospitality (E-LEARNING)

Starting a new job can be a nerve-racking day however this course will provide you with all you need to get things going. Covered in the course is how to prepare for your first day, what to wear, what your expectations and rights are, pay and deductions, holiday and break entitlement, employment contracts, timekeeping, maintaining a professional attitude and health and safety. Suitable for anyone starting their new or first job.

HACCP (E-LEARNING)

HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) is a food safety management system designed to minimise risk to your customers caused by contamination and/or poor hygiene. This course identifies the control procedures of HACCP that can be implemented into your workplace and show you how to apply them to your place of work

Terms & Conditions/Refund Policy

Applicants will be sent The Working Holiday Club™ Terms & Conditions which need to be read, understood and signed prior to the commencement of the program. Any questions… let us know… we are very clear about what we offer and what we don’t… so should you need clarification, ASK!

  • Once these T&C’s are signed (online) and the program has commenced, should applicants drop out or no longer want to continue, all money paid, be it partial or full payment, is not refundable.
  • Once applicants have secured employment and commenced work at the resort/hotel, The Working Holiday Club™ will not interfere with the employment relationship. We are a facilitator of the employment relationship.

We are, however, always there for you should you have any questions down the track, are interested in a second employment opportunity after the season, or simply want some advice.
